Cricket legend Shoaib Akhtar has officially shut down rumors of joining the Pakistan Cricket Board. Despite high-level talks with Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, the "Rawalpindi Express" is staying away.

Citing his mother’s direct advice, Akhtar confirmed he is distancing himself from cricket politics and administration. He chooses family values over board positions, effectively ending all speculation regarding a potential chief selector role.
