Nepal faces a harrowing humanitarian crisis. Official tolls confirm 987 deaths, with nearly 4,000 people currently missing under debris.

In Nuwakot, rescuers recovered 23 bodies from a single home, while 350 students remain untraceable in Rasuwa. As search operations intensify across mud-slicked zones, international teams scramble to save survivors.

The death toll is expected to climb as the desperate search continues.
